My Connections to Play

"Play energizes us and enlivens us. It eases our burdens. It renews our natural sense of optimism and opens us up to new possibilities.”
Stuart Brown, MD
With accountability and test scores being such a focus, we need to remember the value of play!  Kids need time to explore, create and interact.
In my view, children should be the priority for everyone.  Their success is our success.  Their future is our future.
"Childhood is a journey....not a race!"

Too often, adults focus too much on when children reach milestones.  Each child is unique and special and as such should not be continuously compared to others.
Life itself can be a puzzle for all of us if we don’t know what direction to go.

Playing and growing up seems as I always hiking for something new.

Relationship Reflection

Like all relationships, partnership must be worked at if it is to produce satisfactory outcomes. While the choosing a partner is an important factor in the ultimate success of the partnership, equally important to not realizing the importance being alone. Many people have found their Focusing Partnerships to be among the most special and rewarding relationships of their lives. However, like all important relationships, partnerships need care and attention.
To me, a partnership is having a sense of what works for you as well as your partner. Individuals in a new relationship who look at each other, smile at each other, compliment each other, touch each ... for each other, and do enjoyable things together are engaging in behaviors that make love feelings develop easily.
Louise had a built in passion for teaching to make a difference in the world. Education is not a problem. Education is an opportunity. Access to many different playmates promotes young children to develop an interest in their peers and affords them many opportunities to develop play skills that are more advanced, more complex, and more coordinated with those of their peers. Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world by Nelson Mandela. Education is what remains after one has forgotten everything he learned in school.

This person has a heart of gold.  This person’s personality exceeds her character.  She spreads sunshine everywhere she goes and onto everyone she encounters.  She cares deeply about everyone and she puts herself in a situation to analyze and conquer up a solution for her sisters and brothers struggling with an issue.  She has an unselfish nature and caters to the needy whether it is providing services or devoting time with them.  She is very well respected within her community.  She’s always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
